Renewable Energy
Renewable energy is derived from naturally replenishing resources, such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat. Unlike fossil fuels, these resources are not depleted by use. The exploitation of renewable energy reduces greenhouse gas emissions, mitigating climate change. It also enhances energy security and reduces dependence on imported energy. Technologies used include solar panels, wind turbines, hydroelectric power stations, and geothermal plants.
