Circular Economy
A circular economy is a regenerative economic model of production and consumption that aims to decouple economic growth from the use of finite resources by extending the longevity of existing products and materials, emphasising things like reuse, recycling, and refurbishment. It is based on three key principles: reducing waste and pollution through better design, keeping products and materials in use for as long as possible, and regenerating natural systems. Circular economies promote resource efficiency, innovation, and environmental sustainability, thus contributing to a more resilient and inclusive economy.
