About Wealth Inequality Pathway

Everyone is affected by economically by global shocks such as COVID-19, but not everyone has been affected equally. In fact, this inequality is starker than most realise. In this pathway, we will take a closer look at wealth inequality from different aspects. Adrian Pabst will guide you through how regions have been hit differently in the pandemic, the rising levels of destitution, and how the country can recover and learn from our mistakes. Larissa then explains how a new progressive consumption tax policy may help in tackling the wealth disparity.

Deputy Director: National Institute of Economic & Social Research

Adrian is Deputy Director at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research. His research has a focus on political theory, the political economy and public policy. Adrian read Economics at the University of Cambridge and then completed a Masters at the London School of Economics, before returning to Cambridge to undertake his PhD.
