Poverty

Poverty is defined differently throughout the world from the perspective of actual income but a universal definition is an individual or household forced to survive on an income below the minimum income defined according to the country they live in that deprives them of the financial wherewithal to afford the basic necessities that an income at or above the poverty line (as defined) would provide: reasonable housing, access to healthcare, enough food to eat, clothing, energy and clean water.
