Organic Farming
Organic farming, also called biological or ecological farming, is an agricultural system that avoids synthetic chemical inputs, such as pesticides and fertilisers, and instead focuses on ecological processes, organic fertilisers derived from plant and animal waste, biodiversity, and soil health. It can reduce the environmental impacts of traditional agriculture, support pollinators, and improve water quality. Organic food products resulting from this type of farming are often also perceived as healthier and more sustainable.
