Green Certification

Green certification is a voluntary process through which products, services, or organisations are evaluated and recognised for meeting specific environmental, social, or sustainability criteria. Green certification programmes, which can be applied to buildings, appliances, and food, among many other things, aim to promote environmentally responsible practices, support informed consumer choices, and encourage continuous improvement in sustainability performance. Certifications can be awarded by government agencies, NGOs, or industry bodies.
