Global Commons

Global commons refers to the Earth's natural resources and spaces that are not owned or controlled by any single nation and are shared by all of humanity. Examples include the high seas, the atmosphere, the polar regions, and outer space. The management of global commons presents challenges related to governance, equitable access, and environmental sustainability, often requiring international cooperation and the development of multilateral agreements and institutions with which to address these issues.
