Environmental Health
Environmental health, a branch of public health, is the study of how both natural and man-made environmental factors, such as air and water quality, chemical exposures, climate change, housing, and food safety, can affect human health and well-being. It seeks to identify, prevent, and control environmental risks to public health through research, monitoring, policy development, and education. Environmental health professionals work to reduce exposures to pollutants, promote safe and healthy living conditions, and ensure the sustainable management of natural resources.
