Energy Justice
Energy justice refers to the equitable distribution of the benefits and burdens associated with energy production, consumption, and policies, intending to achieve a global balance between economic, social, and political involvement in the energy system. It encompasses issues such as energy access, affordability, and the environmental and health impacts of different energy systems. Energy justice seeks to address disparities in access to clean, affordable, and reliable energy, particularly for vulnerable or marginalised populations and groups, and to promote a more inclusive, sustainable, and human energy transition.
