What’s the real value of a whale? Is it $100, $10,000, or maybe $100,000? You might be surprised to learn that a living whale is valued at over $3,000,000. If we valued the services a whale provides to the environment, it would be worth at least that. In this pathway, Ralph Chami, CEO and Co-Founder of Blue Green Future, introduces us to the concept of Nature Markets. He will explain what Nature Markets are, how they ought to be structured, and the necessary steps to make them a reality. By the end of the pathway, you’ll see why the protection and preservation of nature is significantly more valuable to humanity than exploiting it for other uses.
